Patient Safety

For your protection, our staff members wear masks, gloves, and safety glasses during clinical procedures. We strictly observe all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, as well. All of our reusable dental instruments are cleaned, disinfected, and routinely sterilized as recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Whenever possible, disposable, single-use items are used to ensure your safety. Electric handpieces (dental drills) are sterilized with a steam autoclave sterilization unit specifically designed for this purpose. All surfaces in the treatment rooms are cleaned and disinfected after each patient. So relax! With our stringent safety measures, you’re in great hands.

Patient Comfort

You are not alone if you feel anxious about a visit to the dentist. We understand and appreciate your concerns. Dr. Pointer and our team will strive to make each of your visits pleasant and comfortable. If there is anything else we can do, please mention it to one of our team members. We offer stereo headsets and in-operatory cable television so you can enjoy your favorite CD or watch your favorite television show during treatments.
