Porcelain Veneers
A white, attractive smile makes a great first impression. In fact, according to a study by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, people with a beautiful smile are considered more intelligent, friendly, and successful. If you’ve considered braces, bonding, or teeth whitening to improve your smile, consider porcelain veneers. Handcrafted, custom designed porcelain veneers address tooth color, shape, size, alignment, and overall appearance. So, instead of having multiple cosmetic procedures, veneers may be exactly what you need.
One Procedure Does it All
Veneers usually require two clinical visits after the initial consultation. At the first visit, Dr. Pointer will prepare your teeth for the veneers, take a digital impression, then secure temporary veneers. At our dental lab, a ceramist will create your veneers using durable aesthetic porcelain and following Dr. Pointer’s design. In a week or so, your final veneers will arrive in our Ft. Worth office. You’ll return, and we’ll remove your temporary veneers. Dr. Pointer will then permanently attach the final restorations onto your teeth. He’ll assess the fit and check your occlusion, then make adjustments if necessary. You’ll leave this visit with your gorgeous new smile intact.
